Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team. This role involves operating CNC machinery in an industrial metal-making shop, where precision and attention to detail are paramount.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machinery efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Apply knowledge of G and M code in daily operations.
• Utilize calipers and micrometers for measurement tasks.
• Set up CNC machines to start a production cycle.
• Ensure machines are calibrated and maintained regularly.

Essential Skills

• Experience in CNC machine operation.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Familiarity with G and M code.
• Competency in using calipers and micrometers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Entry-level position requiring basic CNC machine operating experience.
• Understanding of lathe operation and maintenance techniques.

Work Environment

The role is based in an industrial metal-making shop, operating during daylight shifts with flexible start times ranging from 4am to 6am. Initial training will align with the current CNC Lead's schedule. The shop provides a collaborative and friendly atmosphere with minimal dress code requirements.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Monongahela, PA.

The pay range for this position is $20.36 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Monongahela,PA.
